EV-designated parking stalls are intended for active charging only. Any vehicles not actively charging while parked in an EV designated stall are subject to citation and vehicle relocation. Charging must occur in an EV-designated parking stall.

Those leveraging EV charging spaces will pay $0.35/kWh per hour for four (4) hours, after which there will be a flat fee of $20 per hour for the next two (2) hours. Vehicles parked in the EV-designated stall beyond the four-hour limit may receive a citation from Public Safety. 

Non-electric vehicles parking in an EV designated charging stall are subject to citation and vehicle relocation.

Charging Stations in designated ADA accessible spaces require a valid and properly displayed DMV-issued accessible placard on the rear view mirror or have an accessible license plate.

Charging Stations located in the Main 久久精品or Lot are restricted to those with access to the lot.

Motorcycles, including mopeds, must be appropriately registered with the DMV and display current DMV registration tags. Motorcycles, including mopeds, should park in designated motorcycle parking areas where available. They are not permitted inside any campus building and may not drive or park on pedestrian paths or sidewalks. Designated motorcycle parking can be found in the Baseball Lots and School of Law parking lot.

California helmet laws are enforced on campus. All riders must wear a helmet approved by the Department of Transportation.

Street parking may be permitted based on your permit type, but always follow posted signage. A valid permit does not guarantee parking in all areas. Unless otherwise noted, parking is not allowed in:

• Red curbs (emergency access)
• Yellow curbs (University service vehicles)
• White curbs (loading/unloading)
• Green curbs (carpool and visitor parking)
• Reserved spaces marked by signage

Pepperdine community members with a valid vehicle registration who are entering campus with two or more passengers may stop at the Seaver Drive or John Tyler Drive entrance booth and obtain a carpool pass. Faculty or staff may request carpool passes until noon each weekday, and commuter students may request carpool passes until 5:00 pm each weekday. Carpool parking areas are marked with green painted curbs and signs on Seaver Drive, Banowsky Boulevard, Presidents Drive, and Huntsinger Circle, unless otherwise specified. The Main Lot carpool area is designated for Faculty, or 鈥淔鈥�, and 鈥淎D鈥� permit holders only. Carpool passes are only valid on the day for which they are issued and must be hung from the vehicle鈥檚 rear view mirror with the heading, 鈥淐arpool Pass鈥�, facing out.

Officers at the Seaver and John Tyler Drive entrance booths are available to provide directions, answer questions, and issue visitor parking and carpool passes. The Seaver Drive Booth is open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. The John Tyler Drive booth is open from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm, each day.

In an effort to prioritize pedestrian safety and reduce traffic impediments, passenger and rideshare pickups on campus should adhere to the following guidelines:

• Avoid stopping in fire lanes, crosswalks, driveways, parking lot entrances or any other areas that can block traffic.
• Drivers should always remain alert to pedestrian activity and other vehicles, especially in high-traffic areas during class changes. 
• Drivers should use hazard lights when stopped for pickup and never leave their vehicle unattended in active lanes. 
• Passengers should be ready at the curb to minimize wait times. 

Following these best practices ensures a safer, smoother experience for everyone on campus.

Upon arriving to campus, please stop at the guard booth to request a visitor parking pass and directions to your desired campus location. With a visitor parking pass, visitors may park in any legal parking space on campus, with the exception of red zones, yellow zones, and named spaces reserved for individuals other than yourself. Only visitors displaying a valid DMV-issued accessible placard or license plate may park in a blue-lined accessible spaces

4. The Mountain Parking Structure

Vehicles displaying a valid, DMV issued, accessible placard or license plate issued by a state government are authorized to park in a marked accessible space or any other legal space on the campus, including carpool and visitor areas unless otherwise specified. 

Placard abuse can result in the cancellation and revocation of the placard and loss of the privileges it provides and is punishable by an applicable penalty. 

The original DMV issued 鈥淒isabled Persons ID Card鈥� shall be presented to the Public Safety Office to register the accessible placard or license plate via this . Please allow up to five (5) business days to process the registration.
